2009 SEASON: A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS
As
I (Mary) write this, it’s Saint Patrick’s Day 2009. Spring is right
around the corner, and so is the beginning of our 30th year of
making the best
homemade ice cream on the Jersey Shore.
This year will be
especially busy for us. We are moving from Spring Lake Heights to
4 Boardwalk in Ocean Grove (next to Dorian’s Restaurant).
We will miss our good neighbors in Spring Lake Heights, and we’ll
always be glad to see them when they visit, which we hope will be
often. And we look forward to making new friends in
Ocean Grove.
We will still make
the same great, fresh, old-fashioned ice cream we have always made
by hand in micro-batches, and we will be adding other items to our
menu.
So when you visit
the Jersey Shore this summer, remember to “Go Green” – that is, come
to Susan Murphy’s, where green and white sprinkles rule.
(Sprinkle
traditionalists, don’t worry; we’ll always have chocolate sprinkles
for you.)
Whether you’re a
neighbor
or a visitor to the Shore, please stop by and visit us for a taste
of the ice cream that won two medals (a Jury Award and a Peoples’
Choice award, for our Tiramisu ice cream) at the First NJ State Ice
Cream Festival. Just remember, now we’re in Ocean Grove. |
